Hello!

My name is Sam Durgin, I have been the band director at Battlefield Middle School in Fredericksburg, VA from 2020-2023 and I am excited to be joining the music team at River Bend Middle School for the 23-24 school year. I have been a clarinet player for over decade, performing with many scholastic and community band across the region. 

I am looking forward to opening a small music studio this year teaching private clarinet lessons. 

I will be offering 30 minute lessons for $30 a lesson. Financial assistance can be offered on a case by case basis. 

I am a full time music educator at River Bend and also work for Tuscarora HS and Potomac Falls HS's marching bands. So for the months of August-October I can only offer lessons on Sundays. Check out the calendar below to see my current availability for lessons
